Yesterday, I felt as if i was going to pull my hair out!I am currently taking care of 3 children. Alexis, who is 2 years old, Gavin, who is 7 months old and Audrey who is 4 months old. I also just got a lab puppy 4 weeks ago. Alexis and Missy, my puppy are being "potty" trained. Between cleaning the puppy's "presents" every few seconds and putting lexi on the potty every 15 minutes, feeding the lil one every two hours and changing all of their diapers...i thought i was going to go nuts! Dont get me wrong! I have been taking care of these children for 4 months and I LOVE IT!!!! I love children. I have been baby sitting my whole life and can't wait to have one of my own someday...when the Lord sees fit. It just so happened that yesterday was just "one of those days" I am sure the mothers out there can agree with me, especially ones with more than one child. I just see this as the Lord saying to me....you're gonna have a big family...start learning NOW! Like I said, i LOVE this job and wouldnt trade it for the world. Audrey, the four month old has Pyloric Stenosis....or at least they think she does. But she seems to be getting better. Children usually grow out of it, unless it's real bad then they have to do surgery. Thankfully, she seems to be doing well!
Well! Thats all for now! I;ve got to start dinner while the kids are napping!
Well! Hello everyone! I figured I would update my post! Andrew and i are still living in Saint Marys Georgia at the Naval submarine base down here. Life is going great! We just recently had a new addition to our family...a puppy! She is a black Lab Retriever. Her name is Missy and she's brought a lot of fun into our house! I am still taking care of two children. Alexis, who is two years old and Gavin, who is seven months old. They are truly a blessing from heaven. Starting in August, I will be taking care of two more children. A newborn, who will be about 2 weeks old when I start taking care of him, and a three month old baby girl! The spare room in my house is turning into a nursery and my home has turned into a day care center!!! I am very happy for this job and I can truly see the Lord's hand in it all. When I moved down here to Georgia I asked the Lord to please show me what he wanted me to do. Within days I had a job! The most rewarding job ever - taking care of precious children! Well, that's all for now. I will post pics of the babies when I start in August!
